EasyAthletics
Every performance, graded automatically
Most athletics grading rewards the fast kids and forgets everyone else. EasyAthletics scores every student — not just the winners.
It uses official IAAF Combined Events scoring (Spiriev 2017), adapted so every performance gets a result: IAAF points, an A*–F grade calibrated to the student's year group, and an automatic ESAA talent flag when someone hits a competition standard. Students submit their own results by scanning a QR code. You see everything in a live, password-protected dashboard.

Sports day should be the day you get to be a coach — on the track, watching your students compete, doing the job you love. Not the day you spend chasing scoresheets and sprinting between tables. This app handles results, heats, and standings in real time so you can actually be present.
Real-world story
Ran live with 220 students. Handled results, heats, and standings in real time — live announcements appeared seconds after each event, showing student times and new school records. House point totals updated live throughout the day. Back again next year with V2 improvements based on what I saw on the day.
