EasyPE (“EasyPE”, “we”, “us”) is a software brand operated by Ryan Toal. You can contact us at contact@easype.store. These Terms govern your use of the EasyPE website (easype.store) and any tools, web apps, or licences you obtain from us (“the Tools”).
By purchasing a licence, registering interest, or using the Tools or website, you agree to these Terms. If you are entering into them on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.
Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. This means your purchase contract for payment, invoicing, and applicable taxes (including VAT) is with Lemon Squeezy, and Lemon Squeezy’s own terms and refund handling also apply. EasyPE remains responsible for providing and supporting the Tools themselves.
Where stated on the product page, some parts of a Tool may continue to function after a licence lapses, but certain features — such as the teacher dashboard — will stop working. You will no longer receive any EasyPE support, updates, bug fixes, or new features. We do not guarantee continued functionality of an unlicensed Tool, as it may depend on third-party services (such as Google) outside our control.
Custom builds are quoted individually. The first-year fee of £989 covers the agreed build work and the first year’s licence; thereafter, ongoing use is subject to the annual licence fee of £249/year. Scope, branding, and features are as agreed in writing before work begins. Additional feature requests after delivery may be subject to further charges.
Because the Tools are digital products delivered instantly, refunds are handled in line with Lemon Squeezy’s refund process and our discretion. If a Tool does not work as described, contact us at contact@easype.store within 14 days of purchase and we will either resolve the issue or provide a refund.
The Tools run inside your own Google Workspace using Google Sheets and Google Apps Script. You are responsible for:
EasyPE does not host, store, or have access to the data you process within your own Google environment.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or attempt to extract the source code of the Tools beyond what is necessary for normal use, nor to use the Tools unlawfully or to process data you are not authorised to process.
All rights in the Tools, the EasyPE name, branding, website content, and articles remain ours. Your licence grants use, not ownership. For custom builds, your school’s own branding remains yours; the underlying tool framework remains ours.
The Tools and website depend on third-party services (including Google and our hosting providers). We do not control these and are not liable for outages, changes, or discontinuation of those services. We may update, change, or retire a Tool, and will give reasonable notice where practical.
The Tools are provided “as is.” We make reasonable efforts to ensure they work as described, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Talent flags, grades, and scores produced by the Tools are informational aids and are not guarantees of athletic ability, selection outcomes, or assessment accuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Tools or website is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data you control, or loss arising from your own configuration or misuse. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these Terms. The current version is always on this page, with the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
