Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how EasyPE, operated by Ryan Toal (“we”, “us”), handles personal data in connection with the EasyPE website (easype.store) and our Tools. Contact: contact@easype.store.

2. The most important thing to know

The EasyPE Tools run inside your own Google Workspace. Any student data, performance data, or other information you enter into the Tools stays in your school’s Google environment. We do not host, receive, store, or have access to that data. It is never transmitted to us or to any third-party server we control. Your school remains the data controller for that information.

3. What we do collect — and when

We only handle personal data in these limited situations:

• When you register interest: if you submit a “register your interest” form, we collect the name and email address you provide (via a Google Apps Script form) so we can contact you about the relevant tool or course.
• When you contact us: if you email contact@easype.store, we hold your email address and the contents of your message to respond and keep a record of support.
• When you buy a licence: payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive limited order information (such as your name, email, and what you purchased) needed to provide your licence and support.
• Website usage: our website is hosted on Caffeine.ai (the Internet Computer). Basic technical data (such as your browser type or general location) may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

4. Why we use it (legal bases under GDPR)

• To respond to enquiries and interest registrations — based on your consent and our legitimate interest in following up.
• To provide and support purchased licences — based on performance of our contract with you.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations — based on legal obligation.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers needed to run EasyPE:

• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and invoicing (Merchant of Record).
• Google — interest-registration forms and our own email/records.
• Caffeine.ai — website hosting.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

6. International transfers

EasyPE is operated from Thailand and serves schools internationally. Where personal data is transferred across borders (for example, between our service providers’ locations), we rely on those providers’ own safeguards and standard contractual protections.

7. How long we keep it

We keep interest-registration and contact data only as long as needed to follow up or provide support, and order records for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).

8. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR and Thailand’s PDPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email contact@easype.store. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Children’s data

We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children through this website. Student data processed within the Tools stays inside your school’s own Google environment under your school’s control and policies — we never receive it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page with its “last updated” date.
